Cancellation Policy

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing via email (symposium2026@sfte.org). Submission of a registration constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.

1. Cancellations Prior to Registration Close
Registrants may cancel their registration at any time up to the official registration closing date. Approved cancellations will be eligible for a refund less an eight percent (8%) administrative fee.

2. Cancellations After Registration Close
Following the official registration closing date, all registrations are final. No cancellations, refunds, or credits will be issued after this date.

3. Special Circumstances
Requests for exceptions due to extenuating or special circumstances must be submitted in writing to the email listed above and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any such exception must be formally approved by the SFTE Board in its sole discretion.

4. Unpaid Invoices
Invoices issued for registration are considered binding commitments.

• Prior to the registration closing date, invoiced registrations may be canceled in accordance with Section 1 of this policy.

• After the registration closing date, all outstanding invoices become non-cancelable and remain fully due and payable, regardless of attendance or participation.
